Rob Halford - Judas Priest

Introducing The True Metal God Himself Mr Rob Halford

Robert John Arthur "Rob" Halford, born 25th August 1951 is an English singer-songwriter who is best known as the lead vocalist for the Grammy Award-winning heavy metal band Judas Priest.

Rob is considered one of the most consistently powerful singers in rock, possessing a wide vocal range and is particularly known for his trademark high-pitched, operatic, soaring screams. His vocal range currently spans nearly four octaves.

In addition to his work with Judas Priest, Rob has been involved with several side projects, including Fight, 2wo and Halford.

The Metal God is a true exponent of the leather and studs look, having worn many different customised styles of New Rocks over the years.

Closely Followed By Mr Motley..... The Incomparable Nikki Sixx

Nikki Sixx, born Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr. December 11th 1958 is an American musician songwriter best known as the co-founder and bassist of the notorious Los Angeles band Mötley Crüe, infamous throughout Rock 'n' Roll for their levels of debauchery and depravity.

in 2002 Nikki formed the hard rock supergroup Brides of Destruction with L.A. Guns guitarist Tracii Guns.

Nikki's autobiography The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star has proven a real bestseller with its own soundtrack provided by his own band Sixx Am.

Nikki is a true Rock 'n' Roll survivor with a real passion for Women, Tattoo's and Jewellery, who is often pictured in his trusty New Rocks both on and off stage.

And Off Course Rob, Everyone's Favourite Zombie

Rob Zombie, born Robert Bartleh Cummings January 12th 1965 is an American musician, film director, screenwriter and film producer.

He rose to prominence as a founding member of the band White Zombie which formed in the mid-1980s and rose to fame in the early 1990s. As a solo artist, he has released five studio albums, five compilation albums, and a live album. He expanded his career and directed a total of six films, the majority of which he also wrote or co-wrote. He has also released numerous brands of comic books, and appeared as an actor on numerous occasions.

Famous for his stage attire, Rob has been a true disciple of New Rock for many years with their boots featuring in many of his infamous performances.

No Gallery Could Possibly Be Complete Without Stokes Favourite Son..... Lemmy - RIP 28th December 2015

Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister, born 24th December 1945 in Burslem, Stoke On Trent, England was a true English Rock 'n' Roll musician. He was best known as the lead vocalist, bassist, principal songwriter and the founding and sole constant member of the ultimate heavy rock band Motorhead as well as being a former member of the space rock band Hawkwind.

His appearance, including his friendly mutton chops, prominent facial moles, and gravelly voice, made him a cult icon.

A true exponent of the Bullet Belt, Lemmy always favoured the Untipped 7.62 Brass type which was also worn by Fast Eddie Clarke and Philthy Animal Phil Taylor in the classic 80's Ace of Spades line up.

Some Love Him, Some Hate Him, But Dave Always Rocks Our World

David Scott "Dave" Mustaine, born September 13th 1961 is an American musician, best known as the founding guitarist / vocalist of the American heavy metal band Megadeth and as the original lead guitarist for Metallica.

Famous for being outspoken and generally quite a controversial figure, Mustaine is a superb live performer and considered to be one of the most influential metal guitarists of all time.

A Leather Jacket and Bullet Belt are Dave's trademarks with both the classic Brass Tipped and Full Nickel Tipped versions his preferred choice, both of which he often wears at the same time.

A True Rockstar Both On And Off The Stage..... Mr Phil Lynott

Philip Parris "Phil" Lynott, born 20th August 1949 was an Irish singer and musician.

His most successful group was Thin Lizzy, in which he was the founding member, principal songwriter, lead vocalist and bassist. After initial success with "Whiskey in the Jar" the band found huge success in the 70s with hits such as "The Boys Are Back in Town", "Jailbreak" and "Waiting for an Alibi" and became a popular live attraction due to the combination of Lynott's vocal and songwriting skills and the use of dual lead guitars.

Black Leather Trousers, Bullet Belts and pointed Cowboy Boots were Phil's favourite attire, which combined with his trademark front of stage, wide stanced pose, made him a truly unforgettable and awesome sight.

Sadly Phil died on the 4th January 1986, but will be forever remembered as one of the greatest Rock 'n' Rollers ever to walk the stage.

 


 

Everyone Loves..... Slash!

Saul Hudson, born July 23rd 1965 is a British American musician better known by his stage name Slash.

He is best known as the lead guitarist of the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. During his later years with Guns N' Roses, Slash formed the side project Slash's Snakepit and then co-founded the supergroup Velvet Revolver. Slash has since released a number of further albums with singer / guitarist Myles Kennedy.

In 2011 Guitar World ranked his solos in the songs "November Rain" and "Sweet Child Of Mine" as two of the greatest off all time. In 2012, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with other members of Guns N' Roses.

Slash has always favoured dark attire and is rarely seen without his infamous top hat and dark glasses. Leather jeans, Chaps, Cowboy Boots and New Rock Reactors also feature strongly in his classic wardrobe.

One Of The Original Rock Goddess's..... Lita Ford

Lita Rossana Ford, born 19th September 1958 is an American rock guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter.

She was the lead guitarist alongside Joan Jett in the all female rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s, before embarking on a solo career in the 1980s.

A resident of Los Angeles and regular patron of the infamous Sunset Strip rock scene, Lita could often be found at at the Whiskey A Go Go and Troubador nightclubs, where she became a longterm girlfriend and confident of a young Mr Motley Nikki Sixx.

Lita has always epitomised the classic Rock Goddess look, with her Black Faux Leather Leggings, Basques, Leather Jackets, Belts and Jewellery, featuring in numerous provocative photo's and fueling many of our favourite fantasy's.

Michael Schenker, born Michael Willy Schenker on the 10th January 1955 in Hannover, Germany is a German rock guitarist, best known for his tenure in UFO, Scorpions and his own bands.

Completely self taught, he first rose to fame as an early member of the Scorpions, then achieved fame in the mid 70s as the lead guitar player for UFO. Since leaving UFO in 1978, he has been leading the Michael Schenker Group in various incarnations. Over the years he has rejoined UFO three times, producing an album each time as well as making guest appearances alongside his older brother Rudolf Schenker of the Scorpions.

In classic Rock 'n' Roll tradition, Michaels career has had many ups and downs, but he continues to perform and record and is a true Guitar Hero who never fails to amaze and inspire with his skills.

Famous for his passion for Flying V guitars, Leather Jackets and Cut Off's, as well as snub nosed Cowboy Boots, Michael is a true legend and my personal all time favourite AXEMAN!

Finland's And Hanoi's Finest..... Michael Monroe

Matti Antero Kristian Fagerholm, born on the 17th June 1962 in Helsinki is best known by his stage name, Michael Monroe.

Mike is a Finnish rock musician and multi-instrumentalist who rose to fame in the late 70's and 80's alongside guitarist Andy McCoy as the vocalist for the New York based glam punk band Hanoi Rocks.

Famous for his wit, looks and incredible stage presence, Mike has also served as the frontman for a number of all-star side projects, such as Demolition 23 and Jerusalem Slim and more recently with Steve Conte and Sammy Yaffa of New York Doll's fame in the Michael Monroe Band.

On stage Mike is the perfect example of the classic Rock Star look, favouring tight Leather Jeans, Cut Off Jacket, elaborate Buckles and Jewellery and fancy pointed Cowboy Boots, which when combined with his electrifying performances make him one of Rock 'n' Rolls most watchable front men.

All The Way From The USA, Another True Rock Goddess..... Lzzy Hale

Elizabeth "Lzzy" Hale is an American vocalist and guitarist from Red Lion, Pennsylvania who fronts the rock band Halestorm.

The group's self-titled debut album was released in 2009 and their second album The Strange Case Of... was released to critical acclaim on April 10th 2012. The awesome opening song "Love Bites (So Do I)" from that album won their first Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock / Metal Performance on February 10th 2013.

A real up and coming band who blend the classic 80's Metal sound with a very modern rawness and energy that make them superb live and a real treat to witness.

Lzzy herself, possess a fantastic vocal range and has become famous for the way in which she strides the stage in her Leather Hot Pants and Black Stiletto Boots in true Rock Goddess Fashion.

The One And Only Prince Of Darkness Himself..... Ozzy

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne, born 3rd December 1948 is an English rock vocalist who rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath.

In 1979 he left Black Sabbath and formed the Blizzard Of Oz with legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads, releasing a number of acclaimed albums and becoming notorious for urinating on the Alamo and biting the heads of Animals.

The self proclaimed Prince of Darkness has reunited with Black Sabbath several times, most recently to record the album 13 and is one of the worlds true Rock 'n' Roll superstars with an unbelievable longevity and durability.

From White Fringed Suits to Chainmail and Werewolf Costumes, Ozzy has never failed to entertain and his love of Crosses and Jewellery has solidly embedded these icons and symbols into Rock 'n' Roll culture.
